Using this website
This website is published by the Sudanese Nafeer Initiative for Peace and Development. By using it you accept the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The information published here
The pages describe the initiative’s work, the localities it operates in and the results it has recorded. They are written in good faith and kept up to date as far as the field teams are able, but conditions in South Darfur State change quickly. Nothing on the site should be relied on as professional, legal or security advice.
Text, photographs and logo
The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to the initiative or are used by it with permission. You are welcome to quote short passages, and to reproduce material for reporting, research, teaching or advocacy, provided the initiative is credited and the meaning is not altered.
Photographs of identifiable people may not be used commercially, or in any way that could put those people at risk. For any use beyond the above, please ask first at program@sudanesenafeer.org.
What you agree not to do
- Present yourself as speaking for the initiative, or use its name or logo to raise funds or gather information.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, or to gain access to any part of it that is not published.
- Use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising or anything unlawful.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to partners, donors or news coverage. Those sites are run by other people and the initiative is not responsible for what they publish or for how they handle your information.
Enquiries are not agreements
Sending a message about partnership, volunteering or support does not create any obligation on either side. Cooperation begins only when it is agreed in writing between the initiative and the other party.
Liability
The site is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, the initiative is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, where the coordination office is registered. Questions about them can be sent to program@sudanesenafeer.org. If the terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
